A well attended public has marked the day dedicated to Martin Luther King,
held Tuesday 12 May at the auditorium of the High School of Eboli.
The event organized by the university along with Martin Luther King
to the Councillor of the City of Peace Eboli, Francesco Bello has analyzed the figure of Martin Luther King and his work as a civil rights lawyer and advocate of nonviolent methods for claim their rights. Keynote speaker was
Professor Paolo Naso, University "La Sapienza" of Rome, former Director of the program "Rai Protestantism and political scientist of international renown.
The professor stressed the relevance of the message of Martin Luther King highlighting three points: that there is no peace without social justice, that leaders are created by the movements
And then the future is activism of ordinary citizens, who must keep hope alive and the need to live a dream of change.
